Very powerful & heartfelt. I was born a few hundred metres off Queen Street in Auckland but I too rejoice in the inauguration of President Trump. The covid-19 global tyranny has woken me up to evil at a scale I could not have imagined before these people came to kill me and others on an unprecedented scale using military grade psyops & unleased lawfare, the likes of which divided family & friends & destroyed businesses forever using a bought & paid for mainstream media to spread & promote their lies. They have destroyed all trust in western medicine to the point where I would now rather die in bed at home than be dragged to a hospital. II wait to see whether these evil groups of people will get away with what they've done this time like they have in past periods of death and destruction. Trump & all the good people that surround and support him must shine a light into those dark places so history does not repeat. Next time it could be even worse❗

You do not know the pain of losing your freedoms. Until you start to get them back I love that Trump reinstated all govt/military who refused vax, WITH BACK PAY!!

"but I too rejoice in the inauguration of President Trump"?

Don't.

Any particular reason you say that? Are you sad Joe went away?

Not one little bit. But if you read my extended comment to Dr. Garcia somewhere below, you should understand that The Donald's reappointment to the White House changes nothing. 😥

Hello Paul:

Maybe you'll find this item from me a bit more uplifting: Asha Logos'

Mannie. Your political refugee status chimes exactly with my own: having joined the 2 millions in London protesting against the impending war with Iraq in March 2003, only to be flat ignored by Tony Blair, we realised that the UK was no longer a democracy and not the place to raise our children. Like you, we thought NZ was a quiet island of common sense and decency - until they elected a former Wall Street banker as PM! It didn't take long to perceive that NZ was under CIA control via the "Five Eyes" - a veritable Hydra.

Let us hope and pray that Trump can rise above the swamp creatures pulling him down. Four died trying. Thank you for restoring some hope, humour and humanity.

I cried when Barry Soetoro was elected with the hope that the US would enter a new era of inclusion, peace and harmony. Time turned my tears of joy into abject disappointment.

What a slick fraud he turned out to be. Doddery Biden was even worse.

Now we enter a new era and with Trumps team of outstanding individuals the future looks bright.

Expand full comment

" team of outstanding individuals " meaning who?

Expand full comment

I imagine he means RFK Jr, Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth to mention a few, but I really shouldn't speak for Keith. Trump has already pulled the US out of the Paris Climate Treaty and the WHO. Not bad for Day One.

His team marian, which is what I said.

Are you not aware who Trump has selected for the top jobs?

Expand full comment

My apologies Keith for being obscure in my comment... it's just that when I look at the histories of some of Trump's team, eg Elon Musk, J.D.Vance,( protege of Peter Thiel ) David Sacks, Scott Bessent,( involved with George Soros, ) Charles Kushner, Vivek Ramaswamy I suspect they are all part of the global technocratic cabal, and personally don't see them as " outstanding individuals. " ( But that's just me. ) Being billionaires, these people are definitely outstandingly wealthy, thus capable of " pulling strings " to get what they want, but is the future they envisage truly what the rest of humanity needs?

Expand full comment

You've selected a few, many are very wealthy, some in Trumps team are not.

Musk of course is the wealthiest. Is wealth your problem? Are you a Marxist?

I reply by way of a quote by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn from A World Split Apart, delivered 8 June 1978, Harvard University:

I hope that no one present will suspect me of offering my personal criticism of the Western system to present Socialism as an alternative. Having experienced applied socialism in a country where it has been realized, I certainly will not speak for it. The well-known Soviet mathematician Shafarevich, a member of the Soviet Academy of Science, has written a brilliant book under the title Socialism; it is a profound analysis showing that socialism of any type or shade leads to a total destruction of the human spirit and to a leveling of mankind into death.

I’m taking the day off to celebrate the end of the sadness and confusion of the last four years! I pray that the echo of hope will ripple through our country as well. A return to truth , faith in God , and commonsense will be very welcome.

Thanks, Doc, for expressing into words the feelings of, I'm sure, so many. As I listened to Trump's Inauguration speech, I was not surprised that many of his remarks were meant to openly shame those who tried to destroy him. That's when I cried, for I knew that after so many pains & sorrows and lies & assassination attempts, he has now been exonerated.

i believe we should watch, think about what is happening, keep an open mind and hope for the best. The prejudgement will make us all sick. Americans need to come together and do what we can to help clean up the mess, and return to our best as a nation and as people.

It is an easier time to think things will be better and I also hope this change in the air is felt in many places. However , after reading a few things re The Stoics - I think patience is probably the best approach . Like you , I became aware very late in life - perhaps too late re political agendas with their guile and deceit and for sure was bolt upright when the virus debacle rolled out- knew something wasn't right . Perhaps ,it's that area of medicine that I'll watch closely regarding what transpires when something is approved by the so called experts and already see in the cabinet , where there should be no easy consensus as happened before with roll outs of experiments making many rich. We are full on WEF agendas here in Canada with most being too polite to speak up, in my opinion. For as long as the jubilation lasts in the states, I am happy for those Americans.

"That’s why I cried involuntarily today."

Is it possible, Doc, that one or two of those tears may have had something to do with at least partially avoiding the fate of the mythical Cassandra?

Perhaps some of us can heal enough now, to regain strength for the challenges ahead. They are many, and it is our lot in life to shoulder some of the burden of Sisyphus. Our nature consigns us to this fate, and you have a further role to play in helping folks to bear that weight.

Rest up, and congratulations to you and all others whose analyses and prognostications are being vindicated.

“The less martial environment of New Zealand, a country I believed then to be filled with cheery can-do independent and free-spirited types without interest in oppression […].” Yes, well there are still pockets of the New Zealand you used to believe in. You have to leave Wellington to find them. The capital is sadly overpopulated with mealy-mouthed, goody-two-shoed, virtue-signalling career bureaucrats who are obsessed with woke ideology and fetishising compliance. After the abomination of New Zealand’s sixth labour government, my political allegiance has moved to what I used to think was the dark side. I’m never voting for the left again. Despite our change in government over a year ago, however, our crap public broadcaster still puts a woke leftist spin on everything. I wish they’d give David Seymour a fair go (something I would never have said a few years ago).

Beautiful Dr Manny thank you as always.

I was profoundly moved watching the inauguration.

There is (for me) a new atmosphere; a sparkle, a light, as if, and maybe actually, other-worldly.

Those of us increasingly exploring the hidden depths of our own souls, find at least commensurate benefit in the shape of our soulful growth.

Love, gratitude, and peace to you and all.

I believe many of us have, with abated breath, been waiting for the wind of change and prayers to ensure the 'wind' was not snuffed out because, for the last four years, it's been an uphill battle to stay positive about anything that didn't have 'woke' or 'rainbow' or 'climate' in front of it.

Now there is a much better chance that common sense will overcome the ideology that was set on 'population-destruct' by some very powerful entities who saw themselves as the "saviours" of the free world. While at best guess that is still their agenda, this next four years brings breathing space where we can prepare and gather strength for whatever comes after.
