Dr. Alison Goodwin, myself, and Dr. Matt Shelton.
Two years ago I sat in Civic Square and heard and saw the testimonies of people whose lives had been, literally, brought to ruination because our government decided to ride roughshod over our fundamental human rights and to violate the sanctity of our bodies. Two years ago, as I sat, two police-persons had trained a long and impressively large camera lens on those who told their stories and on the audience who listened to them in peaceful quiet. A good friend of mine, who had taken a seat next to me, became so unsettled by this intrusive and blatant attempt at intimidation that she removed herself.
On that clear day I contemplated the realities of the harms suffered, the loss of income, the loss in some cases of physical ability and even the loss of life, while the police recorded every word and every person’s presence as if we were criminals.
Was it criminal to raise concerns about the violations of our rights and to call attention to them?
Was it criminal to voice objections to our having been locked down?
Was it criminal to raise alarms about the imposition of an inadequately tested biological inoculation?
Was it criminal to object to the iron-fisted determination to impose that inoculation upon so many, upon pain of the loss of their occupations and professions?
Was it criminal to see through the government’s utter disregard of long-established humanitarian principles?
Was it criminal to protest against a society cleaved into two parts based solely upon what should have been a personal medical decision – to be jabbed or not to be jabbed – and to punish the group who chose for themselves not to partake in their experiment?
Was it criminal to refuse to wear a face covering that had no real science to support its so-called protective function?
Was it criminal to deny that a healthy person never posed a threat to another’s well-being?
Was it criminal to question, and to speak openly, and to aspire to a free exchange of ideas?
Was it criminal for citizens of our beautiful country to gather peacefully at the seat of government and ask to be heard?
Or is it criminal to suppress the unstoppable and emerging realities about the consequences of coercion?
A neighbor of mine cheated death recently after developing a pulmonary embolism. She is a schoolteacher who unthinkingly received her jabs to keep her job. Not one doctor – and she has since had many hospital admissions thanks to recurring blood clots – has said a word about a possible – and here I use the word ‘possible’ because in medicine causality is certainly complex – link between the jabs and her condition. Instead they have ascribed her problems to ‘long covid’.
A family member, a healthy and vigorous young man of 39, suffered a heart attack out of the blue. He was jabbed multiple times and here too no medical person brought up the possibility that the jabs he received may have had anything to do with his health. When I myself inquired, I was told that the doctors attributed the cause of his heart attack to plaque. Plague – well, you don’t say!!!
I walk frequently through Wellington and note the many shuttered store-fronts of once-thriving merchants and cafes and restaurants forced to close after the lockdowns and the blow to local economies thanks to covid restrictions and to the lingering covid customs, such as working-from-home (the laptop-pajama workforce) that has drained so much vibrancy from city life.
We have gathered here today in remembrance of an unparalleled governmental transgression. We had the courage in the dark days of the jackboot and the goosesteppers to stand our ground, and we have the courage today to continue to stand and fight and to remind others of the crimes committed against our rights and our persons by a government gone wild in its quest to frighten and control – and which is now trying to conceal the evidence of its own reprehensible activity.
However, the tide is turning and the winds of decency and common sense are gathering force from the integrity of all of you who have stared down the lies and the threats and have stood up in the sure affirmation of the better parts of the human spirit. Sooner or later there will be a reckoning, and you will be honored in the ranks of the just and the blessed.

You know Dr. Garcia... I don't think I'm crazy when I write this. I don't even think I'm grossly over-exaggerating: With the exception of less than a dozen who spoke out, every politician in power in the world – not just the West – should hang, for the crimes against humanity they knowingly committed over the course of the Covid Fraudemic: Ignorance is no excuse. If I could find out the reality of the situation working on my own with my lousy music degree, they certainly could have done so with the resources at their disposal.
Wonderful to read this.
I like how you put it, that "the tides are turning and the the winds of decency and common sense are gathering force." Yes, yes, I also see this where I am as well.
Unfortunately, however, too many people are still entirely unaware that pulmonary embolisms are in fact known adverse reactions. Ditto aortic dissections. And all the many neurological, immunological and blood disorder adverse reactions. Not to mention myocarditis, not to mention turbo cancer. I have so many stories of friends, colleagues, and relatives who took multiple jabs and ended up with problems (some really ghastly), or dead. And they got covid anyway, and sometimes several times. They believe their doctors, who believe the CDC (whatever nonsense it spouts). They've never heard of the PREP Act, never heard of VAERS, and they take it as credo that RFK Jr. is some species of ultra-nut. So there's still a ways to go. It's a marathon.
